Pressure–Temperature–Material Compatibility Chart

⚠️ Engineering Disclaimer

Data are approximate working pressures at 38 °C and reduced values with temperature, drawn from ASME B16.34 / EN 1092-1. Actual values vary with design, corrosion allowance, wall thickness, and code requirements. Always verify using certified manufacturer charts before final selection. Valve Flange PCD Compass Calculator

Enter PCD, number of holes, and optional offsets. Get compass/divider settings for flange bolt-circle marking.

Compass A (Bolt Circle Radius):

Divider / Chord Distance:

Compass B (Eccentric Offset):

Hole-to-Hole Angle:

Hole Coordinates (mm):

Hole Angle (°) X Y
Show Formulae

Compass A: r = PCD / 2

Divider (Chord): C = PCD × sin(180° / N)

Compass B: offset distance between flange center & bolt-circle center

Angular Offset: rotation of hole pattern by entered angle (°)

Coordinates: X = r·cos(θ + offset) + e, Y = r·sin(θ + offset)

Use Compass A for bolt circle, Divider for hole stepping, Compass B if eccentric, and Angular Offset for rotated hole patterns. Verify against ASME B16.5 / IS 1538 before marking.

Thread Calculator (Metric / UNC / BSW / BSP / NPT)

BSP & NPT are pipe threads. BSW extended to 2 in per BS 84 coarse series. Always verify against engineering standards.

Belt–Pulley Speed Calculator

Enter pulley diameters, driver RPM, and center distance. Choose open or crossed belt.

Direction: open → same, crossed → reversed.
Formulas

Speed ratio (ideal, no slip): N₂ = N₁ · D₁ / D₂

Belt speed (driver): v = π·D₁·N₁ / 60000 (m/s, D in mm)

Open belt length: L = π(D₁ + D₂)/2 + 2C + (D₂ − D₁)²/(4C)

Crossed belt length: L = π(D₁ + D₂)/2 + 2C + (D₁ + D₂)²/(4C)

Angle of wrap on smaller pulley (open): θ = π − 2·arcsin(|D₂ − D₁|/(2C))

Angle of wrap on smaller pulley (crossed): θ = π + 2·arcsin((D₁ + D₂)/(2C))

Assumes flat/V-belt ideal geometry. Verify wrap ≥ 120° on small pulley for power transmission. Increase C or use idler if wrap is low.
